What does a typical engagement look like?
It depends on what you need. Some engagements are a 90-day build — come in, stand up a function, hand it off. Others are ongoing fractional support at a set number of hours per month. Some are project-based. I scope each one based on your actual situation, not a menu.
Are you open to full-time roles?
Yes, selectively. If the mission, the team, and the moment are right, I'm open to the conversation.
Do you work with early-stage companies?
Yes — some of my best work has been at companies with no communications infrastructure at all. If anything, that's where I'm most useful.
What industries do you work in?
Fintech is where I have the deepest track record, but my background spans nonprofit, education, edtech, and financial services. I've built communications functions for venture-backed startups and helped my little brother launch his first business. I'm also ADHD with a running list of late-night rabbit holes — a clean living retail brand, a boutique hotel concept, healthcare, supplements, skincare. The throughline isn't the industry. It's companies building something real that need someone who can make it legible to the world... and I've probably already thought about your space at 1am.
How do I know if the timing is right to bring you in?
Earlier than you think. The companies that get the most out of working together are the ones who bring me in before the big moment — when they're starting to think about getting their name out there, building credibility, or laying the groundwork for something bigger down the road. I'm useful in a crisis, but I'm more useful before one.
